Prepare a birth certificate translation for immigration, marriage, study, or family applications: names, stamps, apostille, certification, and scans.

Birth Certificate Translation in Tashkent: Complete Guide
Tashkent

A birth certificate links a person to parents, place of birth, date, registry office, and record number. It is often part of immigration, citizenship, marriage, school, inheritance, or family-reunification files. The translation must therefore match the rest of the application, not exist as an isolated page.

Confirm the recipient’s format

Ask whether the recipient needs the original or a recent duplicate, a certified or notarized translation, an apostille, and translation of the apostille itself. Some authorities also require evidence of a name change or a document connecting different spellings.

If the certificate will be used abroad, check the Uzbekistan apostille guide before choosing the order of work.

Details to verify

  • Child’s full name and every historical spelling
  • Parents’ names, including maiden or former surnames
  • Date and place of birth
  • Registry office, record number, issue date, and document series
  • Seals, stamps, annotations, corrections, and reverse-side entries
  • Exact passport spelling used in the current application

Old, laminated, or handwritten certificates

Older certificates may contain faded ink, handwritten entries, abbreviations, or administrative names that have since changed. Send a high-resolution color scan and explain any known spelling. A translator should mark genuinely unreadable text instead of guessing.

If the document is laminated, photograph it without glare. If the receiving authority requires an apostille or fresh duplicate, verify whether the existing physical condition is acceptable before paying for translation.

Recommended order

  1. Get the destination authority’s current checklist.
  2. Confirm whether a fresh duplicate or apostille is needed.
  3. Scan the front, back, stamps, and attachments in color.
  4. Provide passport spellings for the child and parents.
  5. Order the required translation and certification.
  6. Review all names, dates, and registry numbers before submission.

Related family documents

A family file may also include marriage, divorce, adoption, death, residence, or name-change records. Send the set together when possible so the same people and places are translated consistently.

Request a certificate translation

Upload the full certificate and recipient checklist through the online request form. Include destination country, deadline, and passport spellings for every person named.
